I am writing to express my interest in a position where I can contribute meaningfully by leveraging my 25+ years of experience in language education, project management, and administrative leadership. As a dual Australian and New Zealand citizen and a U.S. permanent resident currently based in Maryville, Tennessee, I bring international perspective, adaptability, and a strong commitment to delivering excellence in education and program coordination.
In my current role as an English Language Instructor and Special Projects Coordinator at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, I lead initiatives that span continents—from local housing solutions for international students to supporting global partnerships in Rwanda. Previously, I served as Centre Manager for English Language Partners Nelson-Marlborough, overseeing 22 staff, 50 volunteers, and programs supporting over 250 learners. During my tenure, we tripled our service capacity and successfully transitioned to online delivery during the pandemic.
What sets me apart is my blended expertise in teaching, project and stakeholder management, marketing, and team leadership—skills developed across New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, and the U.S. to name a few. I thrive in roles requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, and I am particularly effective in multicultural and cross-functional environments.
